Knowledge management is the process used to manage all of the existing expertise, experiences and gains within a company. It is based on an understanding of knowledge, which consists of the tangible and intangible skills that employees possess.

Regardless of industry sector or product type, all companies rely on the knowledge of their employees to succeed. At Fortier & Co, we believe that organizations must treat knowledge as an asset, but hiring qualified employees is not enough. Instead, successful companies need to integrate processes to store, develop, and share knowledge to increase the knowledge base of the workforce.
